Canon Releases Several New Products

As expected Canon has announced a slew of new products today in London.  Canon did not say anything that was really out of line with the rumored specs and products.  However, we know have confirmed prices and expected delivery dates for the new gear.

Here are all of the new things Canon announced:

The EOS 5DS and EOS 5DS R. The EOS 5DS and EOS 5DS R Digital SLR cameras are scheduled to be available in June 2015 for estimated retail prices of $3,699 and $3,899 for the body only.

The PowerShot ELPH 350 HS camera will be available in April 2015 in black and silver, The PowerShot SX410 IS camera is scheduled to be available in March 2015 in red or black.

The Rebel T6s and Rebel T6i are scheduled to be available at the end of April 2015.

Canon Rebel T6i with 18-135mm IS STM Lens – $1099
Canon Rebel T6s body only – $849
Rebel T6s DSLR Camera with 18-55mm IS STM Lens

The Canon EF 11-24mm f/4L is scheduled to be available in late February 2015 for an estimated retail price of $2,999.

The EOS M3 will not be available in the US. The EOS M3 will be available from April 2015 with a RSP of £599.99/€769.99.

Of course Canon also released a lot of product data, sample images and video during the announcements.  We will provide more detailed information including the sample images/video as soon as we are done pouring over the avalanche of data that was released.
