Canon was busy last week announcing a series of new DSLR's, lenses and point and shoot cameras, but they are not done yet. Later this year Canon is expected to announce the 5D Mark IV. But in the near future, Canon is expected to announce two new products.
According to Canon Rumors you can expect a new Canon EOS C300 Mark II with 4K video and other upgrades in April. The camera is rumored to be priced very aggressively to compete with Sony's FS7 that retails for $7999.
Canon is also rumored to be making a new macro lens some time in the next year. The source told Canon Rumors it was the "world's first". However no explanation was given as to what the term "world's first" means. Obviously macro lens have been around for sometime, so what innovation Canon has up its sleeve to use that label is anyones guess.
